The Beard Room
A website and online booking system for a Fairfax, Virginia barbershop.

Summary
The Beard Room is a barbershop in Fairfax, Virginia. [Before the redesign, appointments were booked by phone or walk-in], which meant barbers were interrupted mid-cut to answer calls, and customers couldn't see openings or book after hours. The shop needed a site that captured its personality and made booking a cut as easy as possible.
I designed and built a website that brings the shop's look and feel online and puts booking front and center. Customers can browse services and prices, see each barber, and book an appointment in a few taps from their phone. [The booking system connects to (platform), letting customers pick a barber, service, and time, with automated confirmations and reminders.] The visual design reflects the shop's character, so the site feels like an extension of the chair, not a generic template.
Outcomes
- Booking made easy. Customers can book anytime, on any device, without calling.
- Fewer interruptions. Online scheduling freed barbers to focus on the client in their chair.
- A brand that matches the shop. The site gives The Beard Room a digital presence as distinctive as the in-person experience.
