Trained in graphic design and the tools of the trade. The foundation for everything after.
2005–07
Digital Press · Graphic Designer
First job after design school
Designed packaging, brochures, flyers and ads, and managed incoming artwork for in-house and vendor print runs.
2007–08
ASEE · Production Coordinator
Worked at a magazine
Ran production for Prism magazine and the Journal of Engineering Education, from layout to press check.
2008

Joined a design firm
Started as a Junior Designer on branding, publications and web work for a mix of clients.
2009–12

Worked up to Art Director
Three promotions in four years. Art Director from 2012 to 2020: took on more clients, then the team. Ended up leading designers, developers and producers through every sign-off.

Got married, then two kids
Married in 2012. Our first kid arrived in 2014 and the second in 2018.
